Community Events are the heart and soul of Newton Motor Group, offering the chance to prove that we are more than a group of dealerships; we are a family and business invested in the communities we are in. From regularly sponsoring different community fundraising golf tournaments, schools, concerts, and more, we also have a few larger events put on by us for our communities. Keep reading to learn more!
The annual student car giveaway at our Nissan stores is one of the biggest highlights of the year for us. For over 10 years, each Nissan store has given away a free, brand-new Nissan Versa each year (except Covid, when we gave away virtual scholarships instead!) to a lucky and deserving Tennessee high schooler. All it takes? Good grades!
That’s right–this annual drawing is simply based on the number of A’s on the student’s report card! Good grades could equal a free car! Have a student to enter? Click below for the store closest to you to go to their rules page with the entry link:
Newton Nissan South in Shelbyville
This annual event started as a small way to give back to our community at our Gallatin Nissan store, but 10 years later, and it has grown into a huge event that our community looks forward to every year–now at both the Gallatin store and our Shelbyville Nissan store! Both events feature trunks from a local high school band, to support their fundraising efforts, and also include sponsorships from local businesses to highlight what our communities have to offer families in our areas.
