Last week I was traveling from Indiana to Florida when my
Last week I was traveling from Indiana to Florida when my car broke down in middle Tennessee. I had 4 mechanics work on my car trying to get back on the road, each time my car wasn’t fixed. Two others looked at my car quoting the problem as different and costly issues, I had just spent my travel budget on the first four mechanics. I had been stranded for several days and was being told the soonest someone could work on my car was 3 weeks out. In desperation called Newton seeking help, trade in or whatever it took to get me back on the road. They sent a tow truck 50 miles to come get me, my dogs and car. Everyone I spoke with treated me with kindness and compassion. Newton assessed my car and found a simple spark plug issue. I had been overly honest telling them what I was already quoted, they could have charged me for unnecessary work and I would not have known- but they didn’t. They could have convinced me to trade my car in but they didn’t. They simply fixed the spark plug and brought my car back to me in under 30 minutes. I will be forever grateful for their honesty, kindness and compassion. They went above and beyond for me when I was in what felt like a desperate situation. A new car is in my horizon for the near feature and the only place I will consider purchasing from is Newton Nissan. I would like to thank everyone at Newton that helped get me back on the road. You are my hero’s!

Drew Shirley did not give up on me. He didn't pressure me. He scoured the whole car lot. Even the detail shop and the back lot. Found my car in the detail shop. Wasn't even what I was looking for. He gave me the carfax. Answered all my questions. Even talked me into using Newton Nissan's financing. On the day I got paid, Mr. Shirley drove 1 hour away from the dealership to pick me up and get the deal done. He didn't get off untillate that night. Drew got caught up in a terrible storm system that spawnwd tornadoes in his way home from Newton Nissan. If that ain't above and beyond customer service, I don't know what is. I like Chevy Malibu and Impalas but I LOVE my Chrysler 300s Drew found me.

Last week I was traveling from Indiana to Florida when my
Last week I was traveling from Indiana to Florida when my car broke down in middle Tennessee. I had 4 mechanics work on my car trying to get back on the road, each time my car wasn’t fixed. Two others looked at my car quoting the problem as different and costly issues, I had just spent my travel budget on the first four mechanics. I had been stranded for several days and was being told the soonest someone could work on my car was 3 weeks out. In desperation called Newton seeking help, trade in or whatever it took to get me back on the road. They sent a tow truck 50 miles to come get me, my dogs and car. Everyone I spoke with treated me with kindness and compassion. Newton assessed my car and found a simple spark plug issue. I had been overly honest telling them what I was already quoted, they could have charged me for unnecessary work and I would not have known- but they didn’t. They could have convinced me to trade my car in but they didn’t. They simply fixed the spark plug and brought my car back to me in under 30 minutes. I will be forever grateful for their honesty, kindness and compassion. They went above and beyond for me when I was in what felt like a desperate situation. A new car is in my horizon for the near feature and the only place I will consider purchasing from is Newton Nissan. I would like to thank everyone at Newton that helped get me back on the road. You are my hero’s!

I cannot say enough about my experience with Colson Puckett. I gave Colson a list of 9 things it would take to get me to trade cars. He texted back within the hour with my "unicorn" car which actually exceeded my expectations. During the test drive, he taught me about the features of the car, and that time allowed us to establish a rapport for trust. He was transparent about the process and extremely helpful with the transition from my older car to my newer one. He was professional and reminded me of some of my best students during my teaching career. He had done his homework and presented himself as a seasoned professional despite his youth. Please go see him if you want to be dealt with fairly. I trust him, and that is not an easy thing to earn from me. Amanda Rose helped me through the financing with skill and speed. Last week I was traveling from Indiana to Florida when my car broke down in middle Tennessee. I had 4 mechanics work on my car trying to get back on the road, each time my car wasn’t fixed. Two others looked at my car quoting the problem as different and costly issues, I had just spent my travel budget on the first four mechanics. I had been stranded for several days and was being told the soonest someone could work on my car was 3 weeks out. In desperation called Newton seeking help, trade in or whatever it took to get me back on the road. They sent a tow truck 50 miles to come get me, my dogs and car. Everyone I spoke with treated me with kindness and compassion. Newton assessed my car and found a simple spark plug issue. I had been overly honest telling them what I was already quoted, they could have charged me for unnecessary work and I would not have known- but they didn’t. They could have convinced me to trade my car in but they didn’t. They simply fixed the spark plug and brought my car back to me in under 30 minutes. I will be forever grateful for their honesty, kindness and compassion. They went above and beyond for me when I was in what felt like a desperate situation. A new car is in my horizon for the near feature and the only place I will consider purchasing from is Newton Nissan. I would like to thank everyone at Newton that helped get me back on the road. You are my hero’s!

I brought my Nissan Altima in for a transmission replacement. They kept the car for almost a whole month (28 days) and made me pay the entire bill for the rental car??? I had to rent a car instead of getting a loaner car which is what they should have done. How does it take almost a whole month to replace a single transmission??? Very friendly and accomodating!
My car was part of the air bag recall. I took it in and got the passenger side fixed quickly. I had to have a courtesy car until they could get the parts for the driver side air bag. They were very helpful, and didn't even laugh when they had to come unlock it for me (since it didn't have a smart key). When I needed a ride after bringing my car in to get fixed, they quickly got a service person to take me home. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I will definitely return!

Was a little disappointed bought a Subaru from them not even 9 days later I had a flat tire when checked they said there was not a hole in the tire. I took it to discount tire and they found a hole in the one tire in a old patch so I had to buy two tires and didn’t eaven own the car for 9 days was a little disappointed in that besides that had a good experience

You should never have to get a sales person found from the break room when no customers are there. I was told two different things about newtons limited life time warranty, I was never shown the paperwork of the coverage. We had to wait for the financing guy to finish his lunch, my wife and I were also hungry and wanted to leave to go get lunch but was told numerous times that he was about ready for us. Lisa was in a hurry to get the deal done before 4pm because that’s when she leaves. She did nothing to make this faster. The truck never went to detail or got fuel. The truck was supposed to be ready for pickup in the morning and surprise it wasn’t, I waited 30 minutes for her to fuel it.

Typically, we have only had exceptional buying or leasing experiences at luxury brand dealerships (Mercedes, Lexus, BMW), but…..we can now list our purchase experience at Newton Ford South among one of the best. My husband and I started looking at Ford Bronco Sport Badlands models soon after he was released from open heart surgery. We went to some larger dealerships in our area, and honestly, the whole vibe was off. One dealership we visited added on over $2500 worth of add ons and thought we wouldn’t notice. Needless to say, that was not the kind of buying experience we were looking for after my husband just getting over triple bypass surgery. We went back to the drawing board and expanded our search using Cars.com, and read about Newton Ford South and about sales rep Mr. Blake Miller. All of Blake’s reviews were outstanding, so we decided to make the one hour drive from our home in McMinnville and drive to Shelbyville. We had several questions about the Bronco Sport and Blake went above and beyond to help us. The GM, Mr. John Booker was also involved our deal and he was very personable and down to earth. We bought a car back in 2020 from them. They ran our credit scores 13 times without our knowledge. Then 2 years later we went back to see about a trade in because they were wanting the car they sold us back. They tried to sell us a truck that was not in as good condition as our car they had sold us and it was going to cost more than our car. Since then they have kept calling, emailing, and mailing us trying to get the car back. I have told them we were not going to trade our car back to them and asked them to stop contacting us. Yet they have continued to do so so much that it feels like borderline harassment.

One excuse after another. Never once did they bring down the cost of the car we were interested. And they stated they were sending my application to Capital One and then I find out they sent it to 5 places! That royally pissed me off! Never again will I deal with Newton! Starting with my Salesman Gabe, he was professional, knowledgeable and down right pleasant to work with (this was the fourth Ford Dealership I was dealing with) He worked hard to make me a deal with both could live with. With the help of the General Manager (also very Professional, Knowledgeable and pleasant to work with)we reached a fair trade allowance and the fair price of the New Vehicle (even when I lost my cool a couple of times they maintained their Professionalism, thank you for that). The Finance Manager James continued the great service, being Professional, Knowledgeable and pleasant to work with, he was flexible and we negotiated a price for the extra’s we both could live with. I am sure that working with the Service Manager will be equally without any problems. We bought a car back in 2020 from them. They ran our credit scores 13 times without our knowledge. Then 2 years later we went back to see about a trade in because they were wanting the car they sold us back. They tried to sell us a truck that was not in as good condition as our car they had sold us and it was going to cost more than our car. Since then they have kept calling, emailing, and mailing us trying to get the car back. I have told them we were not going to trade our car back to them and asked them to stop contacting us. Yet they have continued to do so so much that it feels like borderline harassment.

Typically, we have only had exceptional buying or leasing experiences at luxury brand dealerships (Mercedes, Lexus, BMW), but…..we can now list our purchase experience at Newton Ford South among one of the best. My husband and I started looking at Ford Bronco Sport Badlands models soon after he was released from open heart surgery. We went to some larger dealerships in our area, and honestly, the whole vibe was off. One dealership we visited added on over $2500 worth of add ons and thought we wouldn’t notice. Needless to say, that was not the kind of buying experience we were looking for after my husband just getting over triple bypass surgery. We went back to the drawing board and expanded our search using Cars.com, and read about Newton Ford South and about sales rep Mr. Blake Miller. All of Blake’s reviews were outstanding, so we decided to make the one hour drive from our home in McMinnville and drive to Shelbyville. We had several questions about the Bronco Sport and Blake went above and beyond to help us. The GM, Mr. John Booker was also involved our deal and he was very personable and down to earth. It was a pleasure to do business with Blake, John and the rest of the staff at Newton Ford South. I have no doubt when my husband decides he has an itch for another vehicle, we will be making the trip back to Newton Ford South.

I literally came to the lot with a little edge on my shoulder to push them back if they approach me while I was just looking. So the salesman approached me and as I walked around the car, he stayed a good distance back and introduced himself and said I’m Sammy welcome to the dealership. It was approach. I never had a followed by saying what brought you out today. It was obvious I’m looking. I said make a long story short. He gave me a little distance and told me he would be available for information if I needed It he didn’t swarm me. He just kind of walked a lot. I guess he was writing something doing other work, so I yelled at him to view a vehicle he said sure and went get the keys. I looked at it, liked it. He was persistent with his approach, but subtle I am still looking, and I have visited a few other places, when I decide to begin my search again I will visit this dealership and ask for this guy, Sammy!

Dealership lied to me at time of purchase of a pre-owned 2022 Ford F-150 XLT. I did not receive the warranty that I asked for. And service department gave a wrong diagnosis on repairs in which I had to pay almost $200 for the diagnosis. Service department claims the transmission was inoperable and requested almost $12,000 for replacement. Vehicle was towed to another repair shop to have a second opinion done and upon further inspection the rear end needed to be replaced. Transmission was in tact and working properly.

We had been looking at different makes and decided we liked the size and looks of the Equinox, and at the last moment happened to stoop in at Guntersville Chevoret. A very nice sales came out to help us and although we told him we were not ready at the time, but would be considering him (Logan Hicks) and the dealership. After a period of time and some illnesses, we decided to stop back by and talk more seriously. Logan was very attentive and nice acting, and after some discussion, we purchase our new vehicle from him. This is quite a departure from or normal action! Thanks Logan!

Brent Woodham was fantastic. He was very professional. He showed us around the local area while making our test drives. I told them up front what I wanted for my trade in and after some discussion that price was agreed upon. The only complaint I have is the online pictures didn’t accurately show some pretty significant gouges/damage in the paint which I discovered after driving 2 hours to see the vehicle in person. They did reduce the price to compensate for this and we were able to make a deal. I would recommend Guntersville Chevrolet to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle.

Dealership lied to me at time of purchase of a pre-owned
Dealership lied to me at time of purchase of a pre-owned 2022 Ford F-150 XLT. I did not receive the warranty that I asked for. And service department gave a wrong diagnosis on repairs in which I had to pay almost $200 for the diagnosis. Service department claims the transmission was inoperable and requested almost $12,000 for replacement. Vehicle was towed to another repair shop to have a second opinion done and upon further inspection the rear end needed to be replaced. Transmission was in tact and working properly.

The entire process was smooth, efficient, and completely stress-free. Logan, Joe, and Moody were absolutely fantastic to work with. Most of our communication was handled through text messages with the occasional phone call, which made everything incredibly convenient. What impressed me most was that I never even had to see the vehicle in person before delivery because I trusted them completely. They went above and beyond by even meeting me halfway for delivery. Customer service like this is hard to find these days. Professional, honest, efficient, and genuinely easy to work with from start to finish. I can’t say enough good things about Guntersville Chevrolet and their team. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle!
