Last week I was traveling from Indiana to Florida when my
Last week I was traveling from Indiana to Florida when my car broke down in middle Tennessee. I had 4 mechanics work on my car trying to get back on the road, each time my car wasn’t fixed. Two others looked at my car quoting the problem as different and costly issues, I had just spent my travel budget on the first four mechanics. I had been stranded for several days and was being told the soonest someone could work on my car was 3 weeks out. In desperation called Newton seeking help, trade in or whatever it took to get me back on the road. They sent a tow truck 50 miles to come get me, my dogs and car. Everyone I spoke with treated me with kindness and compassion. Newton assessed my car and found a simple spark plug issue. I had been overly honest telling them what I was already quoted, they could have charged me for unnecessary work and I would not have known- but they didn’t. They could have convinced me to trade my car in but they didn’t. They simply fixed the spark plug and brought my car back to me in under 30 minutes. I will be forever grateful for their honesty, kindness and compassion. They went above and beyond for me when I was in what felt like a desperate situation. A new car is in my horizon for the near feature and the only place I will consider purchasing from is Newton Nissan. I would like to thank everyone at Newton that helped get me back on the road. You are my hero’s!

Drew Shirley did not give up on me. He didn't pressure me. He scoured the whole car lot. Even the detail shop and the back lot. Found my car in the detail shop. Wasn't even what I was looking for. He gave me the carfax. Answered all my questions. Even talked me into using Newton Nissan's financing. On the day I got paid, Mr. Shirley drove 1 hour away from the dealership to pick me up and get the deal done. He didn't get off untillate that night. Drew got caught up in a terrible storm system that spawnwd tornadoes in his way home from Newton Nissan. If that ain't above and beyond customer service, I don't know what is. I like Chevy Malibu and Impalas but I LOVE my Chrysler 300s Drew found me.

In desperation called Newton seeking help, trade in or whatever it took to get me back on the road. They sent a tow truck 50 miles to come get me, my dogs and car. Everyone I spoke with treated me with kindness and compassion. Newton assessed my car and found a simple spark plug issue. I had been overly honest telling them what I was already quoted, they could have charged me for unnecessary work and I would not have known- but they didn’t. They could have convinced me to trade my car in but they didn’t. They simply fixed the spark plug and brought my car back to me in under 30 minutes. I will be forever grateful for their honesty, kindness and compassion. They went above and beyond for me when I was in what felt like a desperate situation. A new car is in my horizon for the near feature and the only place I will consider purchasing from is Newton Nissan. I would like to thank everyone at Newton that helped get me back on the road. In desperation called Newton seeking help, trade in or whatever it took to get me back on the road. They sent a tow truck 50 miles to come get me, my dogs and car. Everyone I spoke with treated me with kindness and compassion. Newton assessed my car and found a simple spark plug issue. I had been overly honest telling them what I was already quoted, they could have charged me for unnecessary work and I would not have known- but they didn’t. They could have convinced me to trade my car in but they didn’t. They simply fixed the spark plug and brought my car back to me in under 30 minutes. I will be forever grateful for their honesty, kindness and compassion. They went above and beyond for me when I was in what felt like a desperate situation. A new car is in my horizon for the near feature and the only place I will consider purchasing from is Newton Nissan. I would like to thank everyone at Newton that helped get me back on the road. You are my hero’s!

I had to rent a car instead of getting a loaner car which is what they should have done. How does it take almost a whole month to replace a single transmission??? Very friendly and accomodating!
My car was part of the air bag recall. I took it in and got the passenger side fixed quickly. I had to have a courtesy car until they could get the parts for the driver side air bag. They were very helpful, and didn't even laugh when they had to come unlock it for me (since it didn't have a smart key). When I needed a ride after bringing my car in to get fixed, they quickly got a service person to take me home. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I will definitely return!

Was a little disappointed bought a Subaru from them not even 9 days later I had a flat tire when checked they said there was not a hole in the tire. I took it to discount tire and they found a hole in the one tire in a old patch so I had to buy two tires and didn’t eaven own the car for 9 days was a little disappointed in that besides that had a good experience

You should never have to get a sales person found from the break room when no customers are there. I was told two different things about newtons limited life time warranty, I was never shown the paperwork of the coverage. We had to wait for the financing guy to finish his lunch, my wife and I were also hungry and wanted to leave to go get lunch but was told numerous times that he was about ready for us. Lisa was in a hurry to get the deal done before 4pm because that’s when she leaves. She did nothing to make this faster. The truck never went to detail or got fuel. The truck was supposed to be ready for pickup in the morning and surprise it wasn’t, I waited 30 minutes for her to fuel it.

Buying a car is stressful because it’s the buyer working against the dealer for the best deal possible. I personally don’t care for the car buying process, but Blake was very personable and made it feel like less of me working against them, and more working together for a deal that we both were satisfied with. I left feeling content with the purchase and I didn’t feel as though I was taken advantage of. Not something someone typically feels when leaving a dealership, so I’m grateful for that. I had an overall good experience with the dealership, and any staff I interacted with were helpful and made sure I was being assisted in a timely manner.

I waited 3 months before writing this review to make sure my initial impression held up, and it absolutely did. If you're looking for a fair and honest car buying experience you need to call these folks. I made the drive all the way from Illinois and they made every mile worth it. The Newton Ford South team was so down to earth. If they reflect the nature of Tennessee I might even consider moving out of this expensive (communist) state I live in and head to Tennessee. It helps that my oldest son lives in Tennessee.. LOL What really sets Newton Ford South apart is there lifetime warranty on new vehicles which covers engine, transmission, and all lubricated parts. You'll have to ask them about that.

We bought a car back in 2020 from them. They ran our credit scores 13 times without our knowledge. Then 2 years later we went back to see about a trade in because they were wanting the car they sold us back. They tried to sell us a truck that was not in as good condition as our car they had sold us and it was going to cost more than our car. Since then they have kept calling, emailing, and mailing us trying to get the car back. I have told them we were not going to trade our car back to them and asked them to stop contacting us. Yet they have continued to do so so much that it feels like borderline harassment.

One excuse after another. Never once did they bring down the cost of the car we were interested. And they stated they were sending my application to Capital One and then I find out they sent it to 5 places! That royally pissed me off! Never again will I deal with Newton! Starting with my Salesman Gabe, he was professional, knowledgeable and down right pleasant to work with (this was the fourth Ford Dealership I was dealing with) He worked hard to make me a deal with both could live with. With the help of the General Manager (also very Professional, Knowledgeable and pleasant to work with)we reached a fair trade allowance and the fair price of the New Vehicle (even when I lost my cool a couple of times they maintained their Professionalism, thank you for that). The Finance Manager James continued the great service, being Professional, Knowledgeable and pleasant to work with, he was flexible and we negotiated a price for the extra’s we both could live with. We bought a car back in 2020 from them.
We bought a car back in 2020 from them. They ran our credit scores 13 times without our knowledge. Then 2 years later we went back to see about a trade in because they were wanting the car they sold us back. They tried to sell us a truck that was not in as good condition as our car they had sold us and it was going to cost more than our car. Since then they have kept calling, emailing, and mailing us trying to get the car back. I have told them we were not going to trade our car back to them and asked them to stop contacting us. Yet they have continued to do so so much that it feels like borderline harassment.

My husband and I have leased or purchased several vehicles over the last 18 years that we have been married, and some experiences stand out. Typically, we have only had exceptional buying or leasing experiences at luxury brand dealerships (Mercedes, Lexus, BMW), but…..we can now list our purchase experience at Newton Ford South among one of the best. My husband and I started looking at Ford Bronco Sport Badlands models soon after he was released from open heart surgery. We went to some larger dealerships in our area, and honestly, the whole vibe was off. One dealership we visited added on over $2500 worth of add ons and thought we wouldn’t notice. Needless to say, that was not the kind of buying experience we were looking for after my husband just getting over triple bypass surgery. We went back to the drawing board and expanded our search using Cars.com, and read about Newton Ford South and about sales rep Mr. Blake Miller. All of Blake’s reviews were outstanding, so we decided to make the one hour drive from our home in McMinnville and drive to Shelbyville. We had several questions about the Bronco Sport and Blake went above and beyond to help us. The GM, Mr. John Booker was also involved our deal and he was very personable and down to earth. It was a pleasure to do business with Blake, John and the rest of the staff at Newton Ford South. I have no doubt when my husband decides he has an itch for another vehicle, we will be making the trip back to Newton Ford South.

Sammy listened to what I wanted, not what they wanted. Was upfront on everything, no hidden agenda, made the process of purchasing a vehicle transparent. I've never had a GM introduce themselves like Don Riley did, listen to my terms and shook my hand (general respect I like that) and congratulate me on a deal that worked for both seller and buyer. Markis Williams is a very thorough and professional individual. He explained all aspects of financial services, answered all questions and was aligned with Sammy and Don on the needs for the customer. First vehicle I've purchased locally in 27 years. If in the market for another vehicle, I'll definitely stop by and speak to this team again.

This was the best experience I’ve had with a dealership! Everyone knows their job and does it well. From Markis the finance manager to Don the GM the entire process went smoothly. But Drew was the standout! He was kind, knowledgeable, and absolutely no pressure. Most sales people want to talk but Drew wants to listen. I don't often have good experience\experiences when I've purchased vehicles, but I must say Sammy, Markis Williams and Don Riley made it worth my while. Sammy listened to what I wanted, not what they wanted. Was upfront on everything, no hidden agenda, made the process of purchasing a vehicle transparent. I've never had a GM introduce themselves like Don Riley did, listen to my terms and shook my hand (general respect I like that) and congratulate me on a deal that worked for both seller and buyer. Markis Williams is a very thorough and professional individual. He explained all aspects of financial services, answered all questions and was aligned with Sammy and Don on the needs for the customer. First vehicle I've purchased locally in 27 years. I literally came to the lot with a little edge on my shoulder to push them back if they approach me while I was just looking. So the salesman approached me and as I walked around the car, he stayed a good distance back and introduced himself and said I’m Sammy welcome to the dealership. It was approach. I never had a followed by saying what brought you out today. It was obvious I’m looking. I said make a long story short. He gave me a little distance and told me he would be available for information if I needed It he didn’t swarm me. He just kind of walked a lot. I guess he was writing something doing other work, so I yelled at him to view a vehicle he said sure and went get the keys. I looked at it, liked it. He was persistent with his approach, but subtle I am still looking, and I have visited a few other places, when I decide to begin my search again I will visit this dealership and ask for this guy, Sammy!

He was completely untransparent, shady about the numbers, and misled me about my credit score just to push me into a high-interest loan that benefited his numbers, not mine. > On top of the financing tricks, he aggressively pushed an expensive extended warranty. Turns out some type of upper ball joint Control Arm issue. It was not safe to drive. I called my service advisor and he contacted the closest dealership (I work in Huntsville) but they were 5 days out to look at my truck. The Guntersville Chevrolet team worked with me and roadside assistance to have my truck towed to Guntersville Chevrolet. They had my truck fixed and ready for pickup late on Friday (one day after it arrive there from the tow truck !!!); I picked up my truck on Saturday. Dealership lied to me at time of purchase of a pre-owned
Dealership lied to me at time of purchase of a pre-owned 2022 Ford F-150 XLT. I did not receive the warranty that I asked for. And service department gave a wrong diagnosis on repairs in which I had to pay almost $200 for the diagnosis. Service department claims the transmission was inoperable and requested almost $12,000 for replacement. Vehicle was towed to another repair shop to have a second opinion done and upon further inspection the rear end needed to be replaced. Transmission was in tact and working properly.

We had been looking at different makes and decided we liked the size and looks of the Equinox, and at the last moment happened to stoop in at Guntersville Chevoret. A very nice sales came out to help us and although we told him we were not ready at the time, but would be considering him (Logan Hicks) and the dealership. After a period of time and some illnesses, we decided to stop back by and talk more seriously.
